I have exams tomorrow and the day after, so I'll be studying like crazy and trying to keep myself off the computer and away from distractions until they're done. So, while I may be able to get the odd tag in here and there, I'm going to say I'm on hiatus just to be safe.

Once they're done, I'm happy to backthread as much as people want. \o/

Now I just have to find the person who's responsible for the 6:30pm - 8:45pm exam and maim them a little... Dx

Sorry to the world, but I'm going to have to extend my hiatus. I came back from that trip in the worst state of sleep deprivation, physical pain, and hungover-ness ever. And I had to work tonight, and I need to sleep, and I have to read an entire book for an exam on Tuesday. Dying would be preferable, but I will have to satisfy myself with a break from posting.

Okay so. I tried really hard not to do this, but I honestly do not have any choice.

I need to put the following characters on hiatus for the rest of dayshift: Asch (remnantsofflame), Haine (straydoghowl). I'm keeping Tim active, but I will be incredibly slow at posting. I'm keeping him active because I have tons of plans, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get threads done terribly fast, sorry.

The situation is that I'm in a musical, and we have dress rehearsals for two days, then shows almost every day for two weeks, some days twice. It's just not giving me enough time to dedicate to school, work, and rp. Therefore, only one character stays active.

I'm more than willing to backthread breakfast for Asch and Haine (and Tim as well, derp), and I'll keep up as best I can.

Sorry again, but this is a paying job, and it takes precedence over pretty much everything else in my life for the next two weeks.

For those of you who don't know, I'm starting a job tomorrow. As in, first job that's actually a career job. Needless to say, I'm a bit excited (and stressed), and don't know how much brains I'm going to have the first week or so until I adjust (aka, I need my brain for damned posts). So I'm going to be putting Jiraiya on tentative slow posting/hiatus (I don't know which yet) for at least the beginning of this week. Shouldn't be too long, though.

Even so, if anyone wants/really needs to thread with him, I'm always willing to do backthreads. He's still free for the rest of the day, especially if anyone doing the RL event wants to mess with him.

I'd do this via PM, but there's a ton of them. I'll be getting to backthreads with Taura and S.T. and their second shift plans this evening; I ended up not having internet all weekend until now, and I need to unpack and stuff before settling down with the laptop.

I know NPC Mods and players alike were waiting on this, so sorry for taking so long on it! D8 Also, to preface, none of this is absolutely 100% set in stone forever, but it is what we'll be initially using for this Dayshift so that all of our NPC Mods are on the same page (otherwise, we have to do a bunch of micromanaging and hold things up, which... I don't think anyone really wants? ;;) In the meantime, though, you guys can tell us your own feelings about the policies on this post and we'll definitely be taking into consideration any general consensus that comes to light as the next Dayshift rolls along and we try to refine rules as best we can.

Anyway, here goes!

Phew! I think that's all for now? Any comments, suggestions, or questions go here, and though we probably won't be changing the above rules for this first Dayshift unless it proves absolutely necessary, we are eager to hear what everyone has to say so that we can make any necessary edits for subsequent Dayshifts once everyone is a little more used to the basics.

I hope these rules seem fair overall, and again, please let us know your thoughts! Thanks so much for your patience and I apologize once again for my delay in getting this up.

I have a con coming up this weekend that I'm running events for, and I've barely started work on my newest panel. ^^;; So yeah, more time is needed to work on said panel to have it ready in time, hence replies may be delayed. I'm still on for any scheduled thread meetings, though.
